Gender Ideology is an anti-scientific belief system.
Not all adherents of Gender Ideology believe the same things, and many are unaware of what other adherents believe. An adherent of Gender Ideology may believe some or all of the below.
- That there are more than two sexes.
- That there are an infinite number of sexes.
- That the existence of persons with differences of sexual development proves that there are more than two sexes.
- That sex does not exist.
- That there are an infinite number of genders.
- That humans have gendered souls.
- That there is no such thing as same-sex attraction – only ‘same-gender’ attraction.
- That there is no such thing as opposite-sex attraction – only ‘opposite-gender’ attraction.
- That it is ‘transphobic’ for a homosexual male not to want to date females who consider themselves to be transgender.
- That it is ‘transphobic’ for a homosexual female not to want to date males who consider themselves to be transgender.
- That homosexual men and women have ‘genital preferences’ that should be ‘unlearned’, despite homosexuality being innate and immutable.
- That it is ‘transphobic’ not to refer to someone by the third-person singular pronouns of their choosing – whatever they are – either intentionally or accidentally.
- That it should be illegal to refer to someone by third-person singular pronouns other than the ones of their choosing.
- That it is ‘transphobic’ to refer to someone by their previous name.
- That it should be illegal to refer to someone by their previous name.
- That questioning any of the above beliefs is ‘transphobic’.
- That questioning whether something is ‘transphobic’ is ‘transphobic’.
- That spoken or written words are literally physical violence.
- That biological males, who have no uterus or ovaries, can have menstrual cycles.
As you can see, many of these beliefs are contradictory.
Gender Ideology is a distinctly anti-homosexual belief system, as it includes the belief that there is no such thing as exclusive same-sex attraction, which is what homosexuality is. (It is also a distinctly anti-heterosexual belief system, but most of the ire of Gender Ideologues falls on homosexual men and women.)
It is also distinctly anti-scientific. All mammalian species’ exhibit two reproductive categories: male and female. Males have physiologies that are organised around the production of small, mobile gametes. Females have physiologies that are organised around the production of large, immobile gametes. All of this is easily observable.
